About Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
IPL produces long term reduction of unwanted body hair. It can be used to treat most areas of the body in women and men, including the face, and is extremely safe. It offers effective “non-invasive” hair removal for most skin types and hair colours.
The IPL emits high-energy pulses of light directed at the hair follicles (hair roots) where the hair actually grows. The IPL usually destroys between 60-90% of growing hairs during each treatment.
